So I originally had wanted to do two kale chip recipes in this video, however, this one caused me some problems. First, when I was filming the first half, I wasn’t even in the shot fully, and when it came to editing, half of it either didn’t get filmed or wasn’t imported right, because the footage just wasn’t there. So instead, I’ve got some different flavour combinations for you, just swap out for the seasonings/dressings I’ve used here.
PREHEAT OVEN TO 450F
Creamy Poppyseed Kale Chips
Kale; prepped and broken apart
2-3 Tbsp Veg Oil
2-3 Tbsp Poppyseed dressing
1-2 Tsp Salt
Handful of pumpkin seeds (optional)
– Prep your kale by stemming the leaves, and then breaking into smaller pieces
– Add your 2 tbsp Veg Oil and 2 tbsp Poppyseed Dressing, and mix together (I just use my hands for this)
– Add the 1-2 tsp of salt (this is to taste)
– If necessary, add the last tbsp of veg oil and another tbsp of dressing
– Spread evenly out in one layer on a greased or lined baking tray, and then bake at 450F for 5-10 mins, keeping an eye on them after the 5 min mark
** this one is not actually a vegan recipe, as the dressing is made with sour cream, however, if there is a vegan “creamy” poppyseed dressing you like, feel free to use that **
